One data platform, two wings

Music for York House pairs a listening room with the records it is being built for. On one side, sixty complete vinyl systems — one for each pairing of budget tier and listening brief, and each the certified best answer to its brief: every combination the catalogue allows is weighed, and the one that truly comes out on top is the one shown. The money inside each build is shaped by what its brief actually values, and a subwoofer appears only where the arithmetic of musical bass coverage earns it a place. On the other side, the record catalogue itself: every album with its cover, its pressing story, its scores, and the occasions it suits best.
