DISTINCT FROM THE 5510 INTEGRATED: same model number, different box. This is a standalone preamp (inherently separable — an active crossover sits naturally between it and a power amp); the 5510 INTEGRATED (integrated_amps.py, Exposure-5510) is pre_out_parallel and cannot take a series crossover. A matching 5510 power amp / monoblocks is confirmed coming but not yet released as of mid-2026 — pair this meanwhile with 3510 Stereo/Mono, or any XLR/RCA power amp.
KEY UPGRADE over the 3510 Pre: the 5510 Pre adds BALANCED XLR OUTPUTS (the 3510 Pre was RCA-only). It can therefore natively drive XLR-input power amps without an RCA→XLR adapter — relevant for Naim NAP 250/350, Sugden FBA-800/MPA-4, and other balanced-input power stages.
